There are far fewer open wikis than their are open blogs and forums. Many wikis are closed due to the confidential or proprietary nature of their content. These open wikis show a small portion of the potential for businesses and organizations to aggregate and manage information.

Another apparently independent wiki dedicated to radio frequency identification (RFID). This is hosted on a wiki software development company's website: PBwiki.com.
